Bingo Perverts was made in 2022 as part of the project ‘Legacy of ‘67’ by IAP:MCR – (of which I’m Artistic Director): https://www.iapmcr.co.uk/curren

Mancuinan Gay (1978 – 1986) documented the UK LGBT+ rights movement and scene, with a focus on Manchester. Initially run by volunteers and subsequently employing a full-time worker. Copies of the magazine are held at Archives+ in Manchester. Visible on the top of the artwork are the references for the magazine’s archive location etc.

The exhibition took a wide range of Manchester LGBT+ archival material and turned these into large-scale screen-print works.

Mollies Motel (opening this summer in Manchester) has bout an edition from this series for their collection."
